EXCITING SUSTAINABILITY MILESTONE

A more sustainable future for glassmaking

 

Since 2021, we have been working toward transitioning from gas to electric as part of our commitment to reducing our carbon footprint. In collaboration with Cerama A/S, JF Stål , and Paul from our team, we have developed a brand-new electric reheating oven ”the Gloryhole”.

 

This innovation allows us to power our glassmaking process with energy from our own solar panels, this significantly improving our efficiency, sustainability, and working environment. The shift reduces excess heat and noise in the studio while maintaining the high-quality craftsmanship we are known for. A truly satisfying project all around one that brings us closer to a more sustainable future for glassmaking!
